Polyphenols are micronutrients found in plants and are often included in various supplements. Polyphenols can be found in fruits, vegetables, teas, and spices.

 There are no side effects from lacking polyphenols, however, it is often associated with longer lifespan and reduction in chronic diseases.
Polyphenol helps by improving heart health, reducing blood sugar/stimulating insulin, and antioxidants, and promoting healthy gut bacteria.

Some examples of polyphenols are resveratrol, sulforaphane, quercetin, flavonoids


Polyphenols can be found in:
Berries – blueberries, blackberries, blackcurrants
Herbs and spices – Cloves, peppermint, star anise, oregano, sage, rosemary and thyme

Vegetables – artichoke, red onions, spinach, kale
