The 60 Day Focus Concludes... and Consistency Emerges
Dear Friends,
The 60 Day Focus, which commenced on January 19th, has come to a close…It was a frame of time, a snapshot in the course of the year, to declare our mental, physical and personal goals. Many of you committed to heightened positivity in your daily approach while many of you articulated an aim to develop more congruence with your health and nutrition habits. It was awesome to see you delve further, to take a closer look at what is inside and to create further awareness of what is most important to you.
This lifestyle journey exists in perpetuity…the flow exists, each and every day, and offers us an opportunity to choose our attitude, to elevate our composure and to prioritize our wellness.
…And although the 60 Day Focus has concluded, it really marks another beginning.
Fundamentals in life, such as the three elements mentioned above, are honed and sharpened through practice, through repetition, and through ritual. There is no such thing as perfection with fundamentals; rather, the quality of consistency is the torch that truly lights one’s path.
Over the coming three weeks, from now until the Easter weekend (April 10th), we invite you to practice consistency in two areas of your daily habits. Here are some examples:
Drinking at least 1.5 liters of water each day
Having a healthy breakfast to start your day
Taking 5 minutes each day to close your eyes and be still
Taking a moment each day to think about what you are grateful for
Packing a healthy snack for the next day
Reading for 15 minutes each day
Making exercise important personal time
Taking 10 minutes in the morning to plan your day
Smiling, even when no one is around
This is an eventful time of the year – Spring Break has either started or is just around the corner, travel is on the schedule and the long weekend is only weeks away. Whatever this next stage holds for you in time or place, really enjoy yourself and validate the commitment you have made for growth with your health and well-being.
…And in the pace of the days, give space to your own sense of consistency, what ever it may be…it will truly foster a sense of internal peace.
Best to you,
Ranjit
