Creating Change in Our Lives

PERSPECTIVE.

During your current 60 Day Focus with us at Renewed Balance, Perspective is paramount. A key quality to embrace while in the process of creating change in our lives.

It is not an easy thing to do…but it can be done, step by step and day by day.

The perfection of this health and fitness journey is in its imperfection – some days are going to be victories and some days will seem like losses. But if you learn from each day and become just that much more aware of your choices and your thoughts, you will be successfully moving forward.

Here are two areas to which you may anchor:

 

GRATITUDE: At the start of your day or at the end of your day, spend five quiet minutes to yourself to express gratitude. Start with you - what are you grateful for about yourself? And then choose two or three more things, people or thoughts for which to be grateful. You can either write them down or say them to yourself. The main gift here is for your subconscious mind to hear and experience the feeling of gratitude, which will then extend into your next day, setting a gold standard of positivity and optimistic expectation.

 

HYDRATION: Aim to consume at least 2 litres of water each day this week. Water is the agent and lubricant of our body's health and success. It gives rise to a sharper mind, improved circulation, increased efficiency in our digestive system and a higher propensity to excrete toxins. Mostly, sound hydration offers us the gift of being fluid both literally and figuratively...strong physically and alert  mentally. You will notice a significant difference in your energy by week's end.

 

The start of a new month - November….focus on today. Focus on what you are doing well…and confidently remind yourself of what you can do better. Then step out and play.

And congratulate yourself on being willing to grow.
