Exercise minimum requirements and daily routine tips

It is recommended by the Department of Health and Human Services that people should have 75 minutes of vigorous activity and or 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity weekly and also strength train all major muscle groups at least twice a week with recommendations of 12-15 reps of weight loaded activities.

Overall reduction in sedentary lifestyle such as sitting prolonged periods of time will have a great reduction in metabolic problems.

Some tips to help make daily exercise a routine:

·       Having prepared or preplanned exercise regime

·       Exercising with friends and increasing accountability

·       Sign up for classes

·       Keeping brisk exercise when possible, such as walking during lunch

·       Rewarding yourself for durations of discipline
