The Dynamics Of Alignment
Dear Friend,
I hope you are doing well and enjoying the onset of the Fall season. We are the midst of a progressive time...when October and November draw us closer to the end of another year.
While we are in this stage of the year's game, it is important to consider the following...
Although we may be experiencing achievement, are we in alignment?
It would seem that when we are stacking the accomplishments upon each other and there appears to be success, it can feel like we "are on track". All good.
However, if these check marks in the boxes are coming at the deep expense of our health, our relationships, our communication and our accountability...does the bell still toll? Do these accomplishments have meaning and purpose if they are done at all costs?
The greatest victories are not always when the scoreboard lights are on. The real victories unfold when we are aligned with the fundamentals that provide foundation for our endeavors, efforts and experiences.
Consistent hydration that ensures high physical and mental functionality, along with a fortified immune system
Disciplined rest to honor the recovery process, thereby decreasing cortisol and allowing for our energy and focus to recharge
Front end communication to lead conversation in a way that sets the stage for understanding, empathy and teamwork
Listening closely with the intention to understand rather than reply. We will connect more effectively when we truly commit to listening
Making time for our health in a way that it is an opportunity and gift rather than being something on a “to do” list
Expressing gratitude on a consistent basis and focusing on what we do have, here and now
Interestingly, alignment is not linear.
Rather, it is dynamic. It has a core. It is fluid. And it is subject to our creation.
Alignment occurs when we make it happen.
How will you elevate yours in the coming weeks?
With Gratitude and Strength,
Ranj
